New Digitally Delivered Phonemic Awareness Resources for School Districts.

Jazzles' new ‘Lyrics Launching Literacy’ License Offers Class and School-to-Home Resources including JazzleOke - the new, very clever, amusing animations that create visual mini-stories out of Jazzles lyrics, adding significant language texture to the popular Jazzles ‘Alphabet Clever Songs’. The animations include lyrics sub titles to help teachers and parents facilitate children's left-to-right tracking and sound-letter relationships within words as each A-Z song plays. "The more opportunities children have to experience and practice words in meaningful "mini-stories", the faster they will become early readers and writers," says Lesley Beth. For Pre-K to G1/2; ESL, and Special Education. Jazzles uses 425 common, contemporary words in lyrics with an average Gunning-Fog Readability Index of 4.5 (6-easy 20-hard).

Jazzles Description

Jazzles is a song-enriched, multi-layered, phonics based program - easily incorporated into Preschools, Kindergartens or 1st Grades to supplement any early reading program a School District is using. Full of teacher-student interaction for whole class learning while excelling at engaging ESL and Special Education students into mainstream class activities.
Jazzles has prolifically alliterative songs for each letter of the alphabet with a relatively wide age appeal – ranging from 3 to 6. None of its 425 contemporary, commonly used words is "babyish,” so it is also used for older ESL students including migrant centers and universities.
Each A-Z song is initially introduced as a rhyming story. The songs/lyrics use prolific alliteration, rhyme and rhythm to aid quick, easy, accurate recall of the letter and its sound.
Each song is supported by five printable student resources to reinforce learning, comprehension and engagement. These resource pages are song lyrics, coloring, collage, cut/paste/write activities (for reading, writing, fine motor skills, etc.) and personal dictionary – for each student to record learnt words dictionary style.

The music and songs help develop concentration, listening and sequencing skills. Teachers find it a joy to teach children focused and happy by ‘Jazzles’

Jazzles ‘SuperPlans’

The more opportunities to practice phonics means the faster your children become phonemically aware. There is a Lesson Plan for each letter, providing over a hundred ideas for embedding phonemic awareness into daily class (and home) activities. SuperPlans show how to use the letter and its sound repeatedly (repetition being an important part of early learning).
These playful phonics activities cover all five learning styles and all five senses. – including singing, dance, drama, visual arts and crafts, music, reading, emergent writing, handwriting, communication, and social interaction.
Jazzles is ideal for a letter a week or 2-week style programs The SuperPlans can be tailored to suit any individual developmental age and learning style.
